    More like, major highways like that are used a people movers. Stopping traffic, for no good reason (and this was not a good reason), causes people moving issues.

    For instance, if someone was dying in the back of an ambulance and couldn't get proper medical attention that was needed. Or someone was in labor, and unable to get proper medical attention. Or if he cause an accident.

    There are many reason why this is idiotic. The fact that this douche (not you, the guy who did this) refused to accept, realize, or acknowledge this is the reason he should get the maximum penalty. The fact that he flipped off the officer, and that this was his second proposal in just a couple years makes me have no less sympathy for him.

    Him gloating about it on twitter proves that he just didn't give a crap. Idk about jail time but that 2K fine plus attorney fees/court costs are gonna hurt him more than most is my guess.
