His name is Michael Jeffers. The back of his head was shot by his step-father on Monday, and he was taken of life support last night. His funeral is on Friday. Sadly the daughter is also expected to die. The mother is expected to make it. Kory was just over at Michael's house two weeks ago when him and his mother went up to Jackson to visit family for Thanksgiving. It's amazing how close Kory may have come to losing his life as well to a deranged lunatic. The stepfather apparently had numerous guns, and the mother requested a restraining order earlier that day. I'm not a religous man, but I do ask people to keep all of Michael's family in their prayers as his sister and mother still battle for their lives, and the people he left behind are mourning him.
