Is it true that he dis-own her during the early Jazz days and for what reason? She has a diffrent last name and she is not married so I asumed thats the last name of Malone's ex wife or g/f. Also I found it ironic that she plays for the Detroit Sharks and won the wnba championship last year, so maybe she can let her father borrow her ring? I guess they're back to a family type relationship now since she was there at the game rooting for her father.
It's true. Malone knocked up his high school girlfriend and left town. Many years (17-18?) later at the urging of Malone's wife and mother, and learning Cheryl is a good basketball player, Malone initiated contact. Cheryl and her twin brother forgave their father.
Correction: So to reiterate, with his daughter having a ring, Karl is the only deadbeat in the family.
I saw it on Beyond the Glory. I don't know how/why they forgave Malone. While they were shopping at Goodwill, eating mac and cheese in a doublewide, Malone was driving Beamers living in a million dollar mansion with new family.
Correction: So to reiterate, with his daugther having a ring, Karl is the only deadbeat, loser and a**hole in the family
It's the Detroit Shock, and like Kenny Smith to Barkley on TNT, Cheryl Not-So-Proud-To-Be-A-Malone can flash the ring to daddy... BOO-YAAHHH!!!!!!!!
Heh; that reminds me of a skit they did on TNT a while back... I wonder if Cheryl makes her father sit in the "No Rings" section?
so in another word, if the twins turned out to be average joes or even junkies then karla would not contact them at all? that's just sad. i thought karla was a true gentleman off the court.
...or if Malone have not become a superstar and makes million he wouldn't have contacted them, since he help his daughter financially too.
Ms Ford and Her Brother are good people sometimes the best thing a person can leave you . . . is alone in this case. . . it maybe true had Malone had any part in raising them .. . they might be as big an *sshole D*ckhead as he is Rocket River
