I think Ron Artest is carrying on that tradition now for Karla, but not quiet as dirty though.

I have to admit however, that while I don't like dirty playing, I love physical players (who are very rare, sadly, in the league today), that is one reason I love Ron Artest and how he plays the game, I just love physical play, kinda like the NBA used to be in the late 80s and early-to mid 1990s. Sadly, the league has gotten softer and softer in the past few years with stupid rules like "no touching" and all that crap. The WNBA is more physical now than the NBA, and that is a sad thing, because the game is more fun when it is physical.

Just go back to watch those tapes from the early 90s to know what I am talking about. Ahhh, those were the golden years:cool:

To each his own, and I bet you during the early 90s the scoring averages were higher than now, but at the same time there was better, more intense defense and a more balanced game going than right now.

To take one game and make it the norm for that era is higly selective

Coupled with the fact that their fans are the WORST. They have this high and mighty mentality that honestly believe that any player who plays for the j*zz has no ego and no motives except to help the team win and to entertain Jazz fans.
"Oh Carlos Arroyo? Too much ego. Sloan had to let him go."

I went to see them play the Mavs a couple of years ago. They booed Danny Manning because he played for the Jazz for a year. Danny Manning!!!!

Great site...Karla was always an ass, and we know it around here, but have a site for it is pretty cool to remind me how much an a-hole he really was...

Still love that nail through head. But I hope to forget him in the not-too-distant future. Anger resides in the bosom of a fool.
