After finishing my midterms, I decided to relax and see what else I could get for my girl in the mall. I went to Foot Locker, checking out the new shoes. When I turn around I bumped into this guy. Guess who? The same guy with the phone. The first words out of his mouth "Oh not you again! Didn't I tell you not to follow me?" I replied, "Well you said that to your phone, not to me." "Oh yeah." I then asked him if he wanted to get a drink while I asked him a few questions if he didn't mind. He agreed. I asked if the Rockets were interested in trading before the deadline. "Well we are always open to trade offers however none as of yet are to our liking yet." "What about the Clipper trade offer?" "Well we asked for Odom and they said no. Nobody else really jumps out. We think maybe we can get Kandi cheaper if we wait till his contract up. Derek also gets injured a lot. Mo needs to work on his rebounding. Nesby has caught our eye with some of his clutch 3s. However who knows? We might want to trade up on draft day." "Any other offers?" "We had other offers? Maybe you could tell me." He had a smile on his face, then and I wasn't sure what the other offers were. Just rumors and I realized he wasn't going to say much more. "Nevermind then. Since it doesn't look like the rockets will make the playoffs, any players you guys interested in the draft?" "Well Swift has caught our eye. Morris we would like, especially with him being a teammate of Francis before. However we have recieved mixed signals from him about leaving." "What will you do with the 4.5 mil exception?"
