So I have not logged on for a while and stopped by tonight to see over 100 posts about the Bad-man. He will be pleased to know that you all still care.

Currently his team is in the semi-finals of the German Championship. They won the league last season. Malick has started every playoff game and is playing relatively well. He did miss almost all of the Euroleague due to a shoulder injury, but he is doing great and the Rockets are keeping very close tabs on him.

He is planning to return to the states when his season is over in Germany. At that time he will work out with the Rockets and they will re-evaluate where he is at. They maintain his rights.

Malick is one of the most positive, fun-spirited athletes I have ever worked with. He simply has one goal, that is to play in the NBA. I am confident he will do everything to make that dream a reality.

I will be sure to keep all of you posted on his progress and when he returns to the states.

Does Malick think he might be on the Rockets this year? Also, what if the new CBA allows him to be on the Rockets but playing for an NBDL team in Austin?

Hi, thanks for the update. By the way, what's your relationship to Malick if you don't mind to tell? I am just curious.

Good to hear from you again. What is MB doing to improve his lateral quickness? In your opinion, is he evolving into a center or is he still concentrating on his PF skills? Please fill us in on everything possible. Thanks.

In the regular season: 4.5 ppg (50% fg), 4 rpg, 0.6 spg, 0.5 bpg in 15 mpg.

In the playoffs: 8.8 ppg (70% fg), 4.5 rpg, 0.8 bpg in 22 mpg.

I can't tell you that much about his current weight, but from what I've read he is around 104 to 106 kg. Maybe og3s knows more...

It's always good to hear from you, o3gs. Thanks for the update. I also would like to get your opinion on Malick's lateral quickness and the extent you think he will be more effective at PF or C in the NBA.

That's 234 pounds for the conversion impaired.

Thank you rhadamanthus and Germanroxfan for the info. Stats seem really weak unless it is a really strong league. I know he is still young but... :(

European Stats can't be compared to NBA stats.
Actually 8.8ppg and 4.8rpg is quit good. I'd say it would equal to 12-15 ppg and 7-8 rpg, NBA standards.
And I'm not saying he will produce those numbers in a rockets uni!
