Last 4 seasons he's averaged 42 games. I rather get a more reliable back up in case Reed is never ready in Ime's eyes. Don't need a repeat of FVVs high minutes.
FVV was in the 8th percentile of assisted threes. I'm not sure who was president the last time Brogdon had to create his own threes at that rate.
This was probably a discussion to be had 2 years ago......when he was a Celtic and a 15 ppg scorer off the pine.
I couldn't agree more. Brogdon should be a target and can be had for cheap. Anyone in the 50-40-90 would be a welcome addition to a team that lost in the playoffs because of shooting. This should be a no brainer. I think the posters who are saying "no" are assuming his contract is much larger than his value. I think his value is near Landale, roughly 8 million a season.
Brogdon would replace Holliday. I prefer Holliday because he can play an entire season. Brogdon is cooked. I loved him on the Bucks and Pacers, but even then he rarely played 60 games.
Nah. Reed and Ime are signed to the same agency. Stone drafted him. They're not going to bury him like that. He's going to get minutes next season and we already have two other PG's on the roster (Amen and FVV). And a playmaking C.
I mean if you liked Steven Adams, he's basically the Steven Adams at the PG position. Low end starter or high end backup not gonna cost much has an injury history. Also the important thing isn't whether he can play 82 games. At this point the Rockets brass should not be thinking of the roster makeup for getting through the regular season. It's about whether a player can make an impact in the playoffs. And among the FAs who can do that, Brogdon presumably would be on the cheaper side.
