Zhu Fangyu can be a great addition to our SG/SF.
Zhu Fangyu of the CBA's Guangdong Tigers. This guy is a 6'7" 220 lbs SG/SF. I've only seen him play once, in the World Championships game between the U.S. and China. However, this guy impressed me. He scored 14 points in that game. Last year he averaged over 24 PPG in the CBA as a 19 year old and this year he's a key factor on a team who could win the next CBA championship. Recently he had a 41 point game. From what I've been able to tell he's a good defensive player and he's stepped up his perimeter shooting. Plus, he seems to be fairly athletic.
I think this guy has what it takes to make the NBA in 2 years. Realistically, China will have to send a few perimeter players as well as big men if they really want to compete for the gold medal in the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

with all the SG/SF type players in high school and colleges right now this guy will probably not be even heard of again. not trying to bash him in anyway but he would have to be very very very impressive to come over like that. Most of the foriegn players that have made it big are usually big men (peja excluded but he too is like 6-8 6-9 i think). Once again this guy has not probably played on a consistent basis the talent that is in the NBA. Maybe if some college accepted him and he played there first but china->NBA not likely.
