T-mac has an entitlement problem. He thinks just cuz he's got all the talent in the world, he deserves to play, to get to the second round, to be surrounded by good players, to have everyone defer to him, to have no one ever question him. When he doesn't get his way, he basically shuts down like a primadonna. What say the Rox put him on the bench till he earns his minutes. Let people like Wafer who are hungry for minutes to play since they earn it with effort. The guy gets paid 20mil a year, but doesn't feel any responsibility for the salary. Meanwhile, Wafer's getting 1/25 his salary and pours his heart out. What an insult to the rest of t-mac's teammates.
If we have to make him earn playing time. We might as well give him his own La-Z-Boy chair on the bench.
too bad we traded Francis... now we're overpaying someone to do his job. Hey, how about the Rockets hire me. I sit a lot.
What confuses me is when people say we won't get equal value for T-Mac if we traded him. They think we'll be worse off, but are we really better off WITH McGrady? especially a McGrady that has jumped the shark and looks to be heading towards the land of the forgotten. I think we improve if we just asked him to stay home. At least we would play hard every single night.
I don't think we will get any value for him right now. I do agree that he should be sent home and have some one monitor his rehabilitation. He should come back only he is really ready to play.
LOL,to be precise, what kinda Congo style is it that Deke could use to flog him?I bet it's like flogging a dead horse if Deke tryna flog him. Unless he can get his f-kin' head straight and set a tone to play well with other players and do what he's supposed to do,he ain't no use on the court.
I don't see what's extreme about what I'm saying. I'm just saying that he acts like a primadonna when things don't go well. Instead of looking inward and redoubling his efforts, t-mac always looks to blame someone else--the team, the gm... Maybe the team should try something different, like stop coddling him. He should earn his pt just like everyone else.
theres a rumor that t-mac's been sulking about the offense and his lack of shots. so let me get this straight. he wants MORE shots? instead of going 2-11, he wants to go 5-17. great. frankly, if t-mac was a more efficient scorer, we would be going to him more, but he's not. more shots for t-mac means 40% shooting and a more stagnant offense. it appears we're in a conundrum...the enigma that is T-Mac.
