D.Lee is a athlete with explosive dunking, sharp finish skills and great basketball IQ. He scored 7 points and grapped 9 rebounds this season in 22mins playtime. Head is a nice shooter but he is undersize and he can't play D. Head was used as a backup PG in last 4 games but his bastetball IQ and visions limited his performance at PG . J.James is useless to NY and he has a terrible contract (Thanks for I.Thomas) So if Rox would like to accept his terrible contract, the deal could be done. We might use him as a backup center or waive him next year through his team option.
Get Kareem to work with Yao. Look at the wonders hes done with Bynum. Lets just make this the random suggestion thread!!!
Why anyone would want to trade for Jerome James is totally beyond me. He makes Juwan look productive.
Time for the obligatory, "Why the hell would (insert name of trading partner) do that trade?" 1. The Knicks are well stocked with PGs who are really SGs. They have enough trouble getting Nate Robinson playing time. 2. The Knicks desperately need role players who play their ass off. Lee is really the only guy who fits this bill. 3. Salary-wise, this just piles more long-term contracts on NY. I don't think they will be willing to add more salary to accommodate someone like Howard. They already took a useless PF from Michigan from us in Mo Taylor. I don't think they want to do the same thing again. Off the top of my head, those are a few reasons why NY wouldn't do that deal. Now, can someone tell me why the hell NY would?
agree get rid of luthur head...hes to skinny and weak but... david lee is slow and has no special talents...his career will be much like mark madsens, no better than chilcutt's
i agree with you on both counts... here are my suggestions: 1. get kareem to tutor yao. if he's signed with the lakers then bring in bill russell. yao can already score whenever he wants. let russ teach him defense and intimidation. 2. Make tmac buy more rowdies. he makes way more than JVG and he should at least match JVG's 50. ALSO, make Juwon buy some rowdies too. with all of that money for sitting on the bench he could at least buy some rowdies. 3. give JVG a fair shot this season. if he makes it to the second round he stays. a first round exit means a coaching change. (adleman, brown, carlesemo, cassell) 4. give tmac a fair shot this season. he had one great year and one injured year. he is supposed to be 100% pain free, but his game is gone. if it comes back he stays. if he can't manage to play any better by all-star break look for a trade.
