Recently this comedy show on Australian TV received a huge uproar over one of thier skits, namely the make a realistic wish foundation

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZw2Z7LJqxw

I personally thought it is hilarious and I dont understand why a comedy show is taken so seriously.

Do you guys think they have crossed the line or are you like me (so immune from politically incorrect material) that you think it was good for a laugh.

The Chaser's War on Everything is quite hilarious, go to Youtube and watch a few of thier episodes. THey pull prank on people and its one of the most consistnely funny shows.

They were much better when they were CNNNN, and concentrating on news/politics rather than sketches/stunts. The last two seasons have been nearly awful, except for the odd funny moment.

I gotta tell you though, the Billy Connolly 'World Tour of Iraq' sketch had me in stitches :)

As for this particular one, meh...wasn't really feeling the funny there.

Its the way the media in Australia is right now. Its like an industry of over reaction.

The sketch was funny, it was great! It got just the reaction from PEOPLE that the Chasers wanted. I havent talked to anyone that didnt find it funny.

But the media needs to sell papers and commercial space so they grab the ball and run with it. All of a sudden a joke on a TV show has the Prime Minister commenting on it.....its pathetic.

I loved the bit. "Here, have this stick. " "Why go to a bunch of a trouble when they're just going to die anyway?"

    LOL

They have a funny sketch without violence or profanity and it gets them in trouble with the PC brigade.

So they got taken off the air for 2 weeks....how is that punishment? If anything, it'll just give them even more exposure (both right now, and when the return).

Why do these newscasters have funny accents? Are they from Alabama or something?

lol, that was some ****ed up humor...but I laughed. I'm reminded of Dave Chappelle:
