Do you think that Tmac will end up like KMalone, CBarkley and Reggie Miller; as in will go to the hall of fame withought winning a championship.

karl is arguably the best 4 ever. and CB is not far behind him. miller on the other hand was incredibly clutch but never the best player in the league even at his position (drexler/mj).

i think TMAC might go down as more of a dominique wilkins.

Show's how much faith you got in the rockets and tracy. the spurs or the pstons wont be this good foever, 2 years at the tops. then houston with the combo of tracy and yao and luther head, will regin over the NBA.

Disagree. The Pistons and the Spurs are going nowhere, and might only get better with experience and their chemistry improving from playing together for so long.

The Spurs team will be around for another 3-5 years minimum, we better measure up to them if we want to win it all, or else.

I think he is like reggie miller, not exactly the same but similar (both are very clutch players)

You've gotta be kidding me! Miller was a shooter and that was it, he never created and could barely dribble the ball. If Rip or Redd keep doing what they are doing for the rest of their careers, they will draw comparisons for Miller, except for the 'clutch' part of course, since in all honesty that's the only reason Miller will likely be a hall of famer, since his averages aren't that overwhelming for as many years as he has played.

McGrady is so much more, he's leaps ahead in talent and dominance than Miller ever was.

If there is a great player in the past that McGrady might draw comparisons to if he doesn't win it all before he hangs 'em up it would likely be Wilkins, just because of the fact that there isn't another player that comes to mind -- who hasn't won a championship -- that played similar to his style (McGrady can't be compared to big men like Barkley or Mailman or Ewing, and his game is certainly different from Miller's).

Anyways, championships are about opportunity and being in the right place at the right time as much as anything else. In reality, McGrady has never been in position to win it all as of yet, because every season has been either with the loaded Orlando roster or with an old and injury-plagued Rockets in the two years he has been here. We will see if this team becomes championship material during his tenure here in Houston.

I think if not win it all, McGrady and Yao will have at least one serious shot at winning it all while they're still playing together.

I love Reggie Miller but have to admit that TMAc is better than him. Reggie's a better shooter but can't create his own shot like TMac. TMac is super-athletic. Reggie wasn't.

True about the pistons and the spurs. but i truly believe we have a great building block in tracy and yao to challenge those 2. we just need the right players to help them-out...we need another scorer and we'll be very tough.

If you mean end up like as a Hall-of-Famer yeah. If people are talking about not winning a championship, basketball is the only sport where a player is ripped for not winning a championship. In an average NBA career you only have 6 to 10 chances at a championship. It's not easy to win a title.
