When are they going to start making original movies again? http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Movies/01/24/film.magnum.reut/index.html
There are plenty out there if you look. Munich, Syriana, Brokeback Mountain, The Squid and the Whale, so on and so forth.
A Quantum Leap movie would be awesome. I really hope if they do it, they'll bring the original people back, ala Star Trek. Best... TV... Show... Ever...
*waiting for the Buffy movie* (no, the 1992 flick with Oscar winners Hilary Swank and Ben Asslick doesn't count)
hmmm... I wonder why it is when I think of that movie I think: the 1992 flick with Kristy Swanson, Rutger Hauer, and Donald Sutherland instead of spotlighting a minor character(Swank), and a uncredited appearance by that Ben guy. for the record...the TV series was WAY overrated. (imho of course)
Hollywood has never been about originality. Heck, 1939's The Wizard of Oz was a SECOND remake. Besides, there is no such thing as an entirely original concept anyway.
I like how they always shot machine guns on that tv show, but nobody ever got killed. They would always shoot at a tree branch above someone that would fall and knock them out.
