He was fun to watch then but far from what I would call a beast.

He's basically a white Rafer Alston with slightly better handles.

Alson has better handles, but Williams had far superior court vision and passing ability.

magic have had quite possible the best offseason of any team so far this year picked up a lot of decent pieces while losing Hedo.

williams hopefully has something left in the tank he can be a good backup for the team

You can talk all the mess you want about the guy for not always bringing enough substance to back up all the flash, but he had a feel for the game that can't be taught. Incredibly fun to watch.

That highlight reel had some really incredible passes. I mean behind the back, bounce off the opposite elbow pass? Who could come up with that stuff?

If he has handles like that to pass and fake in different directions, I can't see how he was turn over prone. That's some really sick stuff.

Jason Williams, Vince Carter and Dwight Howard running a fast break can be some fun basketball to watch.

Rafer should have playing more of Jameer Nelson's minutes in the finals and he was of value to the team. But Jason Williams essentially gives them back a less pigmented Rafer if he's healthy enough.

For all who think Rubio is a sure fire franchise player, if you saw the Jason William mix before he played in the NBA, would you have similar views?

    Three things come of this:

    1. No matter how you look at it, the Magic just got better....again. (Regardless, trading C. Lee is going to eventually going to bite them in the ass)

    2. The Grizzlies get that much more desperate for a PG. Lets talk Memphis, I'm sure we can work a deal that involves that 7ft spaniard you have on their.

    3. ESPN Top 10 plays will be featuring White Chocolate throughout the season. Awesome.

Get excited people. This grueling offseason is almost history.

That's why highlight reels are highlight reels. Now somebody should do a lowlight reel for him. It would contain all his turnovers, dumb shot selection, and silly decisionmaking. There's a reason he never was a stud in the league. He was flashy but not overly bright. Until later in his career, he was always looking for the spectacular play instead of the right play.
