    Sorry...

The last 12 minutes are really McGrady focused especially the last 5 minutes. But I have you listen through it all because you will understand the thought process he is having making the decision.

    from the stream...

hold ups, there are two 1)wait for expansion draft
2)orlando may be getting cold feet on this TMac deal

working our way through it... monitoring all issues

a major week in the history of this team

we never recovered when shaq left... we cannot be left empty handed

is there a chance he could stay, "oh yes" Tmac is not a FA

no way for shaq to come back to orlando... what do you give up?
what do the lakers get back? enormous numbers have to be worked

still listening... having trouble streaming... you get the gist of it. give it a listen, it's a good interview.

    Orlando Senior VP...as 19 kids, 14 adopted!
lots of sensitive issues..working through it..no announcement..franchise depends on this move...McGrady could stay..from Orlando...can't afford Shaq....Lakers wouldn't get anything they want..Shaq called Orlando a "dried up pond'...might want #1 pick....Not many players very good over 35...... Okafor seems healthy, the back is back, "My back is behind me" (ha) Howard 6'9" growth plates say maybe grow to 6'11"
Good dialog with Houston but you never know....Shaq probably back in LA...Rudy could be the difference in his choice....Probably no other good offers on the table other than Houston (whoop!).....Deng goes #3 Livingstone #4

sounds like McGrady is going to HOuston or Nowhere. But, he also made it clear that he didn't want this to be in the public. So, it seems unlikely he would have mentioned any other trade possibilities anyway.

The best part is right at the end he answers a direct question:

Right now there are NO other serious offers being considered...only Houston. So it's either Houston or he's staying? Yes.

    Not exact quotes, but Yeehaw!!

Yeah, at the end, the hosts of the show recapped the interview... their take on his response:

No other teams are players in the trade talks, they want McGrady to stay but won't let him go for nothing... so, if he doesn't tell them he's signing an extension, they're pulling the trigger on the Houston deal.

Seems more along the lines of, We'll wait until after the expansion draft. Then we can announce the deal.

I'm sure it's likely Steve will get moved along for someone else, anyway. But this deal for TMac will happen.

LOL. Clutch, you should limit a poster's thread starting privilege to 1 per 100 posts in a particular forum. That'll clean up the GARM and the D&D quite a bit.
