It's funny how much Orlando HATES the proposed deal and how they are rooting for us, lol. http://www.orlandopinstripedpost.co...a-trade-rumors-magic-nets-cavaliers-three-way "If The Rockets Pull This Off They will be by far my 2nd favorite team once Howard retires "
On ESPN tonight, Ric Bucher sure was pretty adamant that Dwight would be on the Nets to start the season. I'm with the Orlando fans above. It makes no sense to me that Orlando would do this deal... would seem like a very bad start for Rob Hennigan.
Good find. I have also enjoyed reading their bluenation forum. http://truebluenation.com/forum/index.php?/topic/23349-the-dwight-howard-drama-unfolds/page__st__756 My favorite magic fan quote was a reply, Orlando fan 1: " It's just common sense that the Rockets deal is much better for us. Orlando fan 2: "Common sense is a bad source to use in this league."
Does anyone know specifically what the Rockets deal would be? I haven't actually seen or heard any of the specifics of an offer from the Rockets so I was wondering what it might be.
No lol. We are all assuming that Daryl Morey has offered up his entire barrel of picks and young players, but we really have no idea.
This is precisely what I'm talking about. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8...loring-other-dwight-howard-trades-source-says If I were a betting man, I'd almost be willing to bet this came from Cleveland's FO. Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if Morey hadn't already discussed this with Cleveland's FO. And I suspect Cleveland's involvement in trade talks was simply for entertainment purposes and to shovel info to Morey.
I think Cleveland is just trying to get better. That's all. Maybe now they have sat back and thought about it and are reconsidering it...but Cleveland is just trying to get better. Same thing that happened in the Pau Gasol trade where we were going to send CP3 to the Lakers. Rockets were just trying to get better.
Signing KHump to a monstrosity of a contract and talking on QRich's waste of a contract does not help Cle get better, especially since all they get out of the deal is a future draft pick, most likely in the high 20 range.
Love ESPN's reporting of the story today. ...so your saying the can't miss trade reported yesterday hinges upon SIX sign and trades and Humphries opting for LESS job security just because his agent also represents Dwight Howard? Ya, good luck with that.
I would imagine Humphries has a number of agents bidding for his interest right now that are telling him the same thing - that Fegan is pimping him to make himself and Dwight more money.
Hump is a decent big and could start there. Whether they over pay or not time will tell. Qrich's contract is not really bad. 2013 it'll be an expiring.
You think, You think you think... I think we forget who it is that wants Dwight in Brooklyn. In my club, I will splash the pot whenever the %*&$ I please
Hump will fire his agent if he's got any brains, and he may not have any based on the Kardashian thing, so...
