warriors get ripped off but who cares. at least they know they wont make the playoffs so at least they dont bother trying. whereas for the rockets i bet they'd have done their MIT economics/mathematics and decided ryan anderson was the best player in the trade on the most bargain-value contract and traded scola for him. all this while storming full steam ahead for the playoffs until 2 games before the season ends when we suddenly fall short. the biggest winner of this trade if it goes down is are NBA fans and the NBA. The Magic are gonna be the funnest team to watch for the remainder of the season + playoffs until Dwight leaves Orlando in the summer.
Ken Berger: Despite Orlando's efforts to appease Dwight Howard by acquiring Monta Ellis, GSW owner Joe Lacob has no interest in the deal, sources say. Ken Berger: Lacob won't send Ellis to Orlando and help the Magic keep Howard. Lacob wants to preserve chances, however slim, of getting Howard himself.
All this 3 team crap that we see in the media is Orlando's attempt at saving face when they're forced to deal or lose Howard. They have NOTHING outside of Howard. Overpaid desperation throw-ins that couldn't keep Howard in Orlando aren't gonna appeal to other teams now. As if some owner's gonna say to his GM, "He's offering Quentin Richardson? Hedo Turkoglu? For God's sake, buy, BUY! Before he changes his mind!" ( FAP FAP FAP FAP...)
Looks like the franchises have decided not to help Orlando keep D Howard:grin: They must feel hopeless!
Jarrod N Rudolph @MisterRudolph League sources say Warriors have rejected Magic's various trade offers and talk have ended.
Can't imagine the Warrios trading Monta now that Curry has ankle problems again, the kid's career could be hammered like Brandon Roy's. Imagine them trading Monta away and Curry having to step down/retire, would leave their backcourt and hopes in shambles for years.
Curry to Milwaukee for Bogut was 100% agreed upon...however Bucks backed out after Curry hurt his ankle AGAIN.
