But some 2nd year QB might break the so-called Madden Curse.

is it just me or are there not as many people playin madden this year??? maybe its because of halo.

I haven't played much at all on live, and we played a lot last year.

i thought the problem with Madden online is people quiting. its such a waste of time if you play someone for almost an hr, and they quit before the game is over.

i imagine halo3 was a major part of everyone not playing anything else on live.

madden games have bee stale for too long. They really havent added much for several years now. QB vision...big whoop. The hit sticks and audibles are great, but when everything else is the exact same it gets old fast.

they need to rebuild madden from the ground up if they want people to get excited about it.

I will say that playing with the wii was the first time i actually liked playing madden since 2002 or so

actually my biggest problem with Madden was that it took forever to change menus (main menu, depth chart menu, etc.). I mean, does it really ahve to take that extra second to load up? and honestly I really hate the whole press right trigger scroll with left or right stick thing to get to a position. completely r****ded.

That's why I only buy it every other year or every 2 years. There just isn't enough from year to year to warrant buying it every time. Though, I don't have internet access on my PS2 (please don't laugh) so I have to manually update the Texans roster...with a couple of wishes.

if one has madden 2005, can you just keep updating the roster year after year if you've got internet access?

In terms of getting injured, yes. Well, he did miss that one game.

In terms of not having a good year, curse is still on. The Madden coverboy is next to last in the league in passer rating.

I believe you can. I have 2007, so I had to trade Buffalo for Schaub (they had traded for him the day after the 2006 season).

Yeah, I think I know on the old computer versions, not sure if it was 99 or 01, which ever one. Alot of sites did have weekly update file with statistics, abilities, and injuries changing week by week. Also, I forgot which version it was, but I remember you could import photos into the picture slots for created players.

I don't know if you can do that for later editions.

But really you could do the updates yourself, even though it might take half of a day to update the rosters entirely like the new games.

6-2 and probably will make the playoffs....

Hard to say about his production....I imagine he could get worse, but I doubt I think he will actually do well in second half.

The team's good, but only due to their defense. The Titans offense is 13th in the AFC. Statistically speaking, Houston has a better offense. More yards and more points. However, the Tennessee defense is the 2nd best in the AFC. That's why they're winning.

Coverboy is 6-2 and will make the playoffs so it has been a good season for him.
No curse going on here. We all know he can do a lot of damage in big games so it it good for him to slide under the radar and then shock a lot of people in January.

The Madden curse has to do with injuries...not W-L record. And for clarification, coverboy is 5-2.
