Wow, I came across this name while browsing through nbadraft.net. He was listed as a lottery pick for the 2003 NBA mock draft. I was like hmmmm, I saw that name somewhere before, so then I looked up his profile at Yahoo Sports and there was his portrait, by the Houston Rockets logo. Apparently he dropped down to the second round. The scout report said that he was really, really young and had a bright future. His offensive game was compared to Dirk Nowitzki (sp?). Apparently he dropped to the second round and the Rockets got him somehow. Don't remember when/where though. Nonetheless, I think that he's an exciting prospect for this team. Is anyone familiar with him or his game? What do you guys think of him as part of the Rockets' future?
He played in garbage time a few games. He played much worse than garbage. He wasn't even deserving of garbage time in my opinion. And he lacked class too. There was some special Rocket's presentation at halftime, and he dribbled out onto the court and started shooting baskets. Everyone was telling him to sit down, but he still kept shooting. Something like that. My memory's a little fuzzy now.
we got him in the second half of last season by trading moochie to the hornets...and like the posters mentioned above, he got cut during the offseason
Lampe has talent but came under the JVG Curse ! Young and in need of development two things that say get away from me[JVG]. It could come back to haunt us later on, as might Nachbar and Gay.
Yeah, Lampe could've been a contender. He could've been the next Ewing. FIRE JVG!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait, sorry. I thought this was the Knicks message board.
Actually he fell under the curse of sucking inherently, same as most of your posts. That's why he's no longer with any of his multiple NBA employers.
