I guess I'm starting this thread so I don't have to take up space on others. Lynus just called and he wanted me to tell everyone on here "Hey." They haven't started Basic Training yet; he's still in reception. I've filled in him on some of the interesting things in the news and on the board. He won't be around for the ClutchCity BBS tournament, so y'all can cancel him out of the first round or give him and honorable mention or whatever you think is fitting. If anyone wants to know anything, put it here and I'll relay the message. And I'll update this whenever I get to talk to him or whenever he writes.
Diseased, this is a thread about Lynus and any news about him, because some people do care. I know you can post whatever you want on here, but lets keep it at that please.

You can tell him that I have ordered several heavy metal albums like "Master of Puppets" by Metallica, "Reign of Blood" by Slayer, and "Vulgar Display of Power" by Pantera.
By the way, besides Princess, I'm probably the only one on this board who actually met Lynus (twice in fact). Give him my best.

Actually he has decided where he wants to be stationed. Before he left, we talked about it a lot (actually, he talked and I cried because I wanted him to stay close). He really hoped to be in Germany and going broadcast journalism probably would have gotten him there. They send most of those guys overseas (at least that's what he said). He always said he would talk about it with me first when the time came to decide. On the day he left, we were talking about it again. He decided then that he wanted Fort Sam Houston (in San Antonio I believe) or Fort Hood in Killeen. He doesn't like being away from me at all! I've gotten a couple of letters. He's still waiting to start basic training. They got all their shots the other day (like 10 of them or something ridiculous). And I think PT tests are soon, if they haven't already happened. He's really starving for news since he has no TV or newspapers. Anything y'all think is important, let me know and I'll pass it on! I'll let y'all know if anything knew comes up next time I hear from him. And Jeff-I hope you don't hate me too much over that one thread. I took it a little too far (most of those weren't even my total beliefs, but I was exploring the extreme end of teh spectrum). I'll give Lynus your messages.
