    I didn't even know they were making LV bags in Texas. But these bags are also not true master-crafts, but mass produced aided with industrial sewing machines. I bet the real difference in quality is that the US workers want higher wages for the same work.

    I don't even understand why this is even a discussion. If we needed to make good quality stuff in the US, we could. It's just that our economy is not built for that. We built an economy for white collar workers because of our monetary policy.

    We could but how many people would spend twice as much buying us made products. Also good luck trying to be competitive on the world markets.
