    So wait...what?!

You want us to vote if one of them had to go which would we rather have? They don't even play the same positions do they? (when head plays PG for us at times...)

We haven't even seen kirk play a game in a ROckets jersey....sooo...ummm....

I'm still kind of confused on the reason of this poll.

    I voted for Snyder.

Nothing against Luther, but he'll never be 6'6". Not that height is everything, but if two guys are going to have similar production I'll take the guy with size every time.

i would vote for head right now, but hope i'm wrong. Head is still young, and he made huge strides last season despite the "rookie wall" he hit last season. when t-mac and yao were healthy luther was a significant complement to their games and was lights out from the outside. When they went down more pressure was put on luther to create which isn't his true game. I wonder if somebody can give us luther's stats w/YAO and T-mac,and without them. He was in a great program in illionois and knows how to win, and I believe luther can become " an ultimate role player". Kirk has the body and athleticism to be better, but I think he needs to earn it. Snyder has done nothing for this organization except taunt it. I think luther is better, problem is Snyder's got 4 inches on him and is more athletic. That being said, i don't believe that luther will be here late Feb. I really think that luther will have progressed from his 1st to his second season as much as any rocket since horry in 93 and another scrappy guard we got at 24 the year after.

Considering that the last few teams Snyder has been with have voted for - - nothing - - instead of Snyder, I'd be hesitant to vote for him.

I have faith in JVG's ability to make a player focus. Just like he's done with Spree, Cato, and Francis... He will do a good job getting Snyder to improve on the court.

With Snyder's size and athleticism... He could be a very good defender who can also hit the spot up 3 at a decent %.

However, in a chron article, Dave Macha said Head's been working out hard this summer. We know he can shoot lights out, and if he's in better shape and has worked on his game... It's basically his better shooting vs. Snyder's height.

I can't decide. I'm actually glad we have both. Why not have both?

T-Mac, Snyder, Head can fill minutes at the 2/3. Battier chips in at the 3/4. Spanoulis chips in at the 1/2. That's an excellent rotation IMO, lots of flexibility, lots of different looks.

Head is a hard worker, I hope he turns into someone who we can sub of the bench and make an impact straight away, like mike james two seasons ago

It wont be so amusing at all if the two is packaged along with a draft pick/big contract on hand for some awesome big man. Its a good deal

I have a hard time calling Snyder an asset, yet. Because of his size and athletic ability, he won't have to do much to pass Luther in value. For now, I voted Luther in this poll. Hopefully it won't take long to change my mind. If Snyder plays good defense and can score 10 pts/game on our team, he was our steal of the summer.

For some reason, I suspect Snyder will flame out. I think Head has his head screwed on straight and he's going to have a solid (if unspectacular), long career.

One measuring stick is how well Head shoots FTs in his 2nd NBA season. If he didn't improve by at least 5 percetage points, I'd have a hard time envisioning him having a successful career. Remember he plays the friggin' SHOOTING guard position.

There should have been a poll spot for "wait and see who plays better". Snyder has major questions about fitting in with the team, Head has questions about whether he has starters talent or is best as a third tweener guard. So basically we have no idea who should start until they start playing with the fellas, but I am glad we have both (with Head more of the ball back option) rather than just 1.

When does training camp start? This has to be the longest offseason in Rocket's history.
