I've never really had anything outside of their tacos. I absolutely love their pastor tacos. That sounds yummy right about now.

Duuuude.....you are so up my alley. I eat at the El Rey at least once a week.

For something different....try the fish tacos, chicken tacos, roasted chicken or ropa viejo.

    I love El Rey!!!!!

I eat at the Ella location.

Tortilla soup and a order of plantains aways hits the spot.

I've never been, but I love cuban food and need to check it out. Ropa Vieja is awesome. In Nicaragua, we call it carne desmenuzada. You know what's good about getting this shredded meat homemade is that the next day you can take the leftovers, put it in a pan, reduce any extra sauce and then scramble it with eggs for some amazing breakfast tacos. Take some of that ropa vieja home and try it yourself.

i ordered the carne guisada. a dish i usually love.
at el rey its more like a fajita flank skirt marinaded in different spices and then smoothered in grilled onions.
not what i was expecting, but a decent meal none the less.
the rice and lemonade was on point!
    tortillas not so great.
