He is making strides so far..... Unlike Martin, he has been trying this last 5 games.... 16 pts and close to 10 rbs , 1.6 asts shooting around 0.52 FG one horrible game @ Toronto- 0.25 FG Ice cream man, Passion assassin is back with the Scoop, Arg-Tango
Scola is fine, I've never been worried about him. He struggled a little early but he's still a good player. His numbers are right in line, rebs are down because of Dalembert but thats it. Martin has been a complete disaster.
If you ever suspect Luis of not giving 100% you need to go straight into Psychiatric Care. The man embodies everything associated with the work Hustle.
What a game by Scola even though it is not his role to score 30, he still did it today. Scola haters are pathetic, he is a great all around basketball player but not a superstar.
That is not his forte.... but actually he can hold a post player... he did it against Griffin... he is not fast.... but compared to Kevin the fairy, Budinger, Flynn and JHill with the knee or bad leg he is ok.
I wouldn't mind keeping Scola...but I'd much rather see the team just trade away their vets (Scola and Martin) and just move on.
i respect Scola, he kept the franchise rolling, but i think its time to part ways. I applaud his effort over the past few weeks, he seems to understand how the NBA works. he, unlike K-Mart, knows and understands the definition of trade value.
The one thing about the Laker trade i hate. It's impossible for me to root against a pro like Scola, but it would be the Lakers. He's the polar opposite of an overpaid softie like Kevin Martin, he would play hard regardless of team, opponent, or situation.
If you implant his will, his toughness, grit and hustle into Gasol's body.... that would a formidable monster
1) the Cavs have atrocious defensive bigs w sideshow bob out 2) the guy is less than a year removed from knee surgery Scola is the man, but business is business
