From what i can remember to trade Scmber Bosh is only about 6'10" tall, an inch taller than Scola, he does have an outside shot though, and he is very much a finesse player . As our team has many finesse players and we need more height on the team I would want to keep Scola on the team in all circumstances as his play brings so many offensive intangibles. If it brought LeBron James then I would be willing to trade Scola in the deal.
personally, I like Luis a lot and think he's strong enough to survive a season. I have my doubts about the Boshster and his legs.
I really like everything about Luis. But if it takes Bosh for us to go to WCF or Finals I will have to take Bosh. But as players, IMHO Bosh = Scola.
value wise i think scola is better i just don't think bosh is worth the max contract and we only have to pay 10 mil at most to keep scola
I don't sell very easy. To me Scola is a proven winner. My vote goes with Scola. Is Bosh worth all the hype? Really stop and think about it. Is he worth the money he's wanting or is he worth the players we will have to give up. I'd be all in if Morey can work his magic and bring him in at a good pay scale or at least not having to give up Scola, Brooks, Martin, or Lowery.
Because you cna only put 5 guys on the court, I'm gonna go with Bosh. Scola has some great post moves, but he lags on defense. With that said I think Scola is a much more fundamentally sound basketball player. With age this may be a different question as well, I think Scola may be able to play at an older age than Bosh. With all that considered if we want to win a championship, I think we would be stupid not to go after Bosh.
So the Astros lost 8 in a row, won 1, lost 1, then won like 8 of 10. Then the Astros lost more 8 in a row, won 1, then lost 1. I'll give 5:1 odds that they'll continue this cycle and win 8 of their next 10. Any takers?
