http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4936783 I thought it needed a thread. Thanks for everything LT. Sad, sad, day for me. My best wishes to LT and his family, congrats for your soon to be first-born. Hope you get your ring.
bummer.. living out here in San Diego i am a huge Charger's fan. I'm sad to see LT go but it was expected. I will continue to watch him on another team.
I'm thinking he goes to either the Saints or the Patriots. He's incredibly close with Drew Brees, plus the Saints are rumored to be mulling over letting Reggie Bush go. And the Pats are always in the market for veteran players looking to jump start their careers.
I think he ends up in Dallas or New England. Always hated him because he owned us, but he seems like a good guy so hopefully he will someday be able to wash off the foul stench of failure that has been permeating from that San Diego locker room for the past 50 years.
absolutely has under 3.5 yards per carry and a few more 4-and-out's from the 1 yard line in his tank..
Considering how badly we need a running back.... I'm thinking the Texans come in as a solid 4th option for LT. One thing is for certain, he would get as many touches/catches here as he would at any other team.
Why do y'all think he will wind up in Dallas? They have 3 extremely capable runners all on the way up.
I don't see LT playing in Dallas. The backs they have are younger, faster and cheaper (with the exception of Barber).
