Did i miss something? As far as i know Kobe is still one of the greatest who's ever played.. and lowry isnt.
Apart from his skill... I'd rather have Lowry than a guy of Kobe's Character. Can't stand the guy. There's more to a player than his ability on court. It's the other things he brings that makes him valuable to a team. Plus would Kobe play Adelman's system and give up scoring opportunities? Doubt it.
lowry's name shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence w/kobe. im not a kobe fan...just for the record.
That's an obvious answer. We already have one of them in a Rockets uni, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have the best player in the world on the team. Is this stemming from last night's block on Watson? Or the game he played? WTF thread....
You must know something about Lowry that no one does. I think the fair question is whether we would want to see Kobe or Lebron in a Rockets uniform.
Why is that? Really? I am just curious? I mentioned them because both are vastly different types of players... one is a hard working super star that shoots the ball and the other is a great example of a flawed but hardworking team player. I am making this thread to poll what Rockets fans value more. Rude superstars or underdogs that play as a team.
Trick question? Ofcoarse Lowry, has a big heart. Plays fearlessly and with passion. Goes after every play and rebound. Not the other dude whose filled with himself.
Stop and think about the fact that kobe's character rubs opposing fans the wrong way, maybe some opposing players too, but for the most part his teammates are cool with him as a person. They complain because he's anal about playing the game to perfection, but so was MJ and he too was said to be a bad teammate somewhat. It's a bad thin when you're being an ******* or jerk just to be one, not when you're just trying to win. And if we could acquire Kobe i promise you Adelman would have to adapt to him or he'd be fired.
I personally think it is. If it wasn't for a vocal minority who don't understand the point of the thread. It isn't asking who is better as a player individually, it's simply asking who would you rather have on your Rockets. Nothing more really.
C'mon, it's Kobe Bryant. The Rockets need a finisher in many of their close games and Kobe's the best finisher in the league today. /thread
