That was his opinion. He didn't state it as fact.

It's not outside the realm of possibilities if Brooks doesn't play well.

Hollinger isn't that high on Brooks. He dogged his selection over Sessions in the rookie-sophomore game (which, to be fair, he was absolutely right about).

I think he sees Brooks as an energy bench guy. But the Rockets like Brooks more than the national media at large realize. I'm pretty sure he'll be the starter, unless Lowry blows them away with his play.

 

Expect Brooks to start come tomorrow, but if Lowry plays well, there's no reason to think he couldn't be the starter.

 

it's about personnel guys. brooks can hit open threes, which you need in a lineup with Yao. the bench guys need a creator who can get them shots, which is lowry's style of play.

You also need a guy who can actually get Yao the ball, which Brooks can't do. I've yet to see Brooks re-post Yao but I've seen Brooks look at Yao with his man sealed and then swing the ball away or drive it in himselft to get blocked too many times.

I don't know why you're all are hating on Lowry. Have any of you even seen him play?

 

I would love to see Lowry start, but.... since Yao is on the starting lineup and he draws a lot of double teams. It might be better for the team to start Brooks. It is kind of hard to tell at this point.

Lowry is a finisher around the basket, and a good passer...alot of fans in Memphis complained that he should of gotten more minutes, i think he can be a good fit for us if he gets in the flow of the offense

 

It's been reported many times now on 610 that AB with be the starter but I excited to see what this Lowry can do for us when he comes here.
