WAH WAH WAH !!! I guess being 0 for the last 9 in chances to clinch a series makes them ultra sensitive. DD
Speaking of classless, did anyone see that cop rough up that stupid kid taunting the Red Sox after the Jackson/Damon injury? (Classless = kid, not cop. I realize that sentence structure is kind of odd.) I couldn't stop laughing at the teenage punk. I bet he dropped a load in his pants.
I loved watching the cop punk that dude's ass! You have been b****tified ho! I saw nothing like that in any of Lowe's celebrating all though I did think Manny was a dick after his homer.
Lowe did nothing in his celebration offensive, as far as I could tell. The A's are just wallowing in their post season misery.
I'm surprised none of the A's said anything about that. I thought Lowe was just celebrating, not taunting anyone. Manny, on the other hand, was clearly taunting.
OK, here I go derailing again. Anyone else, besides me, sick of Sammy Sosa's pre-HR hop? I've noticed he's doing it more and more on warning track pop ups now. His hopping average is decreasing pretty rapidly. Is it so hard to perform like you expect to succeed?
Not necessarily. Manny was pointing at his teammates in the Red Sox dugout, as if to say "I finally got an RBI in this freaking series". He did not point at or taunt the Oakland dugout.
I was talking about how he was still standing still when the ball landed. If he was running and pointing then it wouldn't have looked bad.
Baseball players do that all the time. I don't condone it, and I personally do not like it, but it happens all of the time.
I was thinking more of him standing and watching the ball leave the yard before he pointed to the Sox dugout. I don't think opposing pitchers take too kindly to that. I thought for sure he'd get beaned his next at bat.
Lowe did make some sort of motion toward his crotch but I do believe that he was just waving his arms wildly and he was not making any sort of gesture toward the A's.
I agree. He was flailing his arms and one of them came near the crotch. If it were intentional, I believe he would have turned towards the Oakland dugout and grabbed his package Michael Jackson style.
Did anyone notice the A's fans mocking Ortiz and some of the players walking into the dugout after the 2 Boston OFs collided w/ each other? Didn't it feel like being in Yankee Stadium w/ the Red Sox playing? Ahh, the love of baseball in the air....
What a joke. Why do people get so upset when a guy plays with emotion? Never understood it, if sports were full of Tim Duncans it would be unwatchable. Taunt, celebrate its all in fun. Dont like like it than beat that team next season. Im sure this is the last things A's want to hear right now
I LOVED Manny's reaction to his homer. I always like it when he does that. He knows it's gone. That's so money. He just saunters down the line. SO cool.
