    Current race participants :

    1) - Memphis - 15-45
    2) - Chicago - 16-44
    3) - GS - 16-42
    4) - Denver - 17-40
    5/6) - CLE - 22-38
    6/5) - ATL - 22-38
    7) - Houston - 22-37
    8) - NY - 22-36
    9) Miami - 26-32
    10) Phoenix - 28-32
    11) Toronto - 29-33

It looks hard to catch 1-4. 5-8 are all bunched up 9-11 should stay ahead in wins, without major tank. East should get more wins than west, but see schedules.

Cleveland has Miller, Person and Z.
ATL has Reef, Terry, Kukoc and Nazi.
Houston has Steve, Cuttino, and KT (scoring-wise).
NY has Spree and Houston - does Camby play again?

I think Steve or Cat need an "injury". The number 5 pick is way better than the number 7. I wouldn't want to see Steve or Cat hurt like J. Richardson the other night.

    Draft?

    Williams
    Ming
    Stodemire
    ? Dunleavy
    ? Gooden
    ? Rice
? etc... Y'all will know more about this, I bet.

Thanks for the heads up on NY - I edited the error after your post. ;).

You forgot about NY...they are number 8 I believe and we are in serious "jeopardy" of starting to play better than them :D

i see the number 8 pick as the lowest we will go, unless we rip off a whole bunch of wins in a row.

Why the hell is Golden State so bad? They have some talent on their team.

Qyntel Woods will be in the top 5 picks for sure...and Chris Wilcox may be as well if he comes out. Dunleavy is staying at Duke...already announced it

How can you want anyone on the Rocket's team to get hurt at all? To get a better lotto pick?

    (not trying to sound pissy)
I really don't care about the quotation marks. All these threads about the Rockets tanking in the rest of the season are crap. No real fan would want their team to do that.
Besides a rookie is not what they need anywayz. The team is young already.

I disagree Dreday...I am a real fan...and the fact that I think winning is a no-win situation at this point should show you that. I'd rather have a better pick in the draft.

Golden State has talent but they have a lot of players out of position - Larry Hughes at point guard experiment, their most expensive guy isn't a franchise player, Antawn, and lots of players at PF, one good rookie who's hurt, Dampier, mediocre center with long term, avg contract, and he's not event starting, saddled with even more expensive and longer term contracts than Houston's backup Moochie, with Sura and Mills and a terrible GM.
