    Fellow Rocket Fans,

Obviously people here are true fans otherwise they would not be pondering possible trades scenarios months before training camps begin. I know it all pains us to see our team go the lottery, but its actually kind of nice knowing that we're starging over again. The games last year were actually some of the funnest games i've been to in a while. Maybe because now days most of the bandwagon fans are gone and the people that really do enjoy basketball and the Rockets are in the stands having a blast instead of people going to Rocket games because they were trendy or a good place to take business clients! I personally love this new team and hope we can keep the nucleous together for years to come. But I cant help loving paying $15 for an upper prom seat and moving down to the fourth row the night Walt Williams clocked Shawn Bradley. We were screaming the whole time "Kick his A$$" and we were yelling for Rudy to tell the Refs to throw that freak out...even Rudy was laughing. The fans were all enthusiastic and having a blast. I remember a few years ago in '97 i think I was sitting in the same general area after paying close to $100 for my seat. There was some scuffle with Barkley and I don't remember who. We stood up and were screaming and having a blast when i look around and people with their cell phones were asking me if i could keep it down!! Most people in that area didnt even seem to enjoy the game, they were just trying to impress their dates/clients!! You know what I say..Good Riddance! Clutch Faithful, keep an eye out for me...i'll be trying to sneak closer and closer down next year! And i'll be getting louder and louder the farther down the bleachers i get!

    FD,

Ahh, you bring back memories! I too have upper prom seats and I too was sitting in about the 4th row when Walt cracked Bradley -maybe we were next to each other?

The best part about that incident was that Bradley wasn't ejected until after the refs had watched the replay on the big video screen.

You are echoing the sentiments of ChuckyBrownFanClub - Its a good time to be a rockets fan, especially if you're a true rockets fan.

Those were good times Davo! I was looking around down there and thought to myself... these people didnt pay that much for a seat! We were standing up yelling for like thirty minutes.....I hope the Rockets do well next year...but surprise us and don't give the band wagoners enought time to jump on!!
