I think we've seen the best of the Rox this season...if there are no drastic changes by Morey, let the countdown begin..

Not entirely. A realistic fan believes we'll probably sneak into the playoffs at an 8 seed.

He's what I'd like to call a melodramatic fan...

if we lose today, we'll be 4-7 this month (after doing well through a hard stretch).

Well, despite this ridiculous thread, one nice thing about this board this season has been the lack of threads like this one after games (BTW, we still have 9 minutes left on this one). I think there's a correlation with Y.O.F.'s not posting here this season

The lottery countdown started when we went 0-3 on the NOR, LAL, PHX road trip. Now it is just a matter of time ....

Actually, if we decide to finally start Budinger over Ariza or Battier, a huge issue will be solved. That starting lineup is just killing us, especially in the 3rd quarter.

More losing and Adelman will be forced to do something. It's tough to send Battier or Ariza to the bench at the risk of chemistry, but it is inevitable.

I think sending Ariza to the bench would actually help the chemistry. It's not like the chemistry is great right now as it is.

And sorry folks, but unless something changes Houston is not making the playoffs this year. They look stale and they aren't even playing anywhere near the level of defense they were playing early on in the year. They need a shake up.

lol no offense, but people who'll spend the time to post on a Rockets' message board aren't your "average fan". I don't think anybody here is going anywhere.

If only McGrady would've kept his mouth shut, he may have been getting a lot of playing time the way things are going now.

They didn't want to play him either way which puzzled me, but Morey's a genius he knows what he's doing.

As bad as Ariza is the biggest problem is the Rockets are too small in the frontcourt.

These guys are getting killed on the boards against athletic long teams`as well as giving up too many points in the paint.

Having 40 million on the sidelines is bound to catch up with you.

Sending him to the bench? More like send him to the D league so he can learn basketball 101.

Actually that's an optimistic fan, the current team that's out there is not a playoff team, simple as that, If we don't make any significant move's by the trade deadline were a lottery team.....
