This was accidentally leaked out, I believe, and the fact that there are still trailers up on the net surprise me - I don;t think New Line Cinema is happy about it. But, here's the link for you, until this guy is forced to take it down, at least.

It's good to finally see something, but that trailer didn't seem as good as the previous ones.

I'm pretty sure this is just the teaser that's going to be on the DVD later this month. PJax just said that they still have a long way to go on effects and scoring, so I don't think we'll see the full blown trailer for quite a while.

I don't even think this is what's going to be on TTT dvd. this is just something short that somehow got out there. it is still sweet, though. anybody who has both (a) read the books, and (b) thoroughly enjoyed the first two movies, knows that the third one will easily be twice as good as the first two.

This IS the teaser on the upcoming DVD. The trailer hasn't been finished yet, from what I hear. Pretty cool, though.

Great teaser, but....the ROTK teaser on the TTT DVD is advertised as being 10mins long. So, if this is that teaser, then they've cut a whole lot out.

    Still, I can't wait.

An ignorant question, but is TTT on video now?...I still haven't seen it...I liked and appreciated the first one better after 2 or 3 viewings...fancy that! has this happened with anyone else regarding the saga?

I dont hate Harry Potter, but it does get annoying as hell after a while. I friend of mine who is 24 years old keeps on going on and on about Harry Potter. Keeps on telling me the Harry Potter movies are much better then LOTR's because he knows it pisses the crap out of me.

The LOTR movies are absolutely my all time favorite and I just fail to see how a 24 year old guy can like the kiddie **** of Harry Potter better then Lord of the Rings!?!?!?!

LOTR and Harry Potter on the same weekends. Nomar must hide for that.

My favorite is Return of the King, but I just think there may be too much to cover in even a three hour movie...especially since they moved the end of TTT to the beginning of the third movie. It seems like things move a lot faster in third book and a lot more happens.

Unless it's four hours, I'm worried that more stuff will be cut out.

Here will come the flame so I'll just put on my fireproof jacket. Ok here we go: LOTR freaking sucks. Boring plots, boring figures, and last, boring and butt hole ugly orcs fighting against a bunch of kidlike dwarfs. I can't believe this sh*t is popular. I want my DVD money back. Return of the King? It'd sound better if it's Return of the Money!

It's a shame you can't appreciate it. TTT was worth it just for the battle at Helm's Deep and Gollum's scenes - not to mention everything else.

Gollum: You don't have any friends. Nobody likes you.
    Sméagol: Not listening. Not listening.
    Gollum: You´re a liar, and a thief.
    Sméagol: No.
    Gollum: Murderer!
    Sméagol: Go away.
    Gollum: Go away?! Ahahhaa!
Sméagol: I hate you, I hate you.
Gollum: Where would you be without me? Gollum. Gollum. I saved us. It was me.
    .
    .
    .
Sméagol: Leave now and never come back.
    Gollum: No!
Sméagol: Leave now and never come back!
    Gollum: Ahh!
Sméagol: LEAVE NOW AND NEVER COME BACK!

"This, my friend, is a PINT."
"They come in pints?? I'm getting one!!"
    -Merry and Pippin

"I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip."
    -Merry

Frodo: I'm going to Mordor alone."
Sam: "Of course you are! And I'm coming with you!"

    Strider: "Are you frightened?"
    Frodo: "Yes,"
    Strider: "Not nearly frightened enough."

ROTK will reportedly be about 3.5hours long. Don't quote me on that though.

Panda- are you judging LOTR on the books or movies? The movies are freaking awesome. But they hold nothing to the books.

I don't understand what you find boring about the plot. Please explain. Boring figures- please explain. Boring Orcs- please explain. Orcs are meant to be ugly, btw. Exactly as Tolkien described them. There is only one Dwarf in LOTR, as a major character, so your statement about that is just stupid.

If you are going to flame something, do it with valid arguments. Nomar, for example, didn't like the films, but at least he explained why he didn't like them, which is respectable.

WTF? Who says Harry Potter and LOTR are coming out on the same weekend? Where did that come from? Do some research before posting, for God's sake. Um, newsflash: LOTR:ROTK comes out in December. ALAS, THERE IS NO POTTER MOVIE THIS YEAR. Then, the next HP comes out next year (projected in June)... and... wait for it... THERE IS NO LOTR MOVIE NEXT YEAR.

    Release dates:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - 11/16/01
Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring - 12/19/01
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - 11/15/02
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - 12/18/02
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - 12/17/03
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Akaban - June, 2004

Man, Harry Potter is a some f***ing weak-ass s*** for scheduling Azkaban a month after my oh-so-beloved Star Wars: Episode III. Stupid stoopid HP. DIEHARRYPOTTERDIE! YoU R 4 Kids only Leglas IS l33t GAndolf = s0x0r HP pwnd by LOTR

(Oh, and BTW, LOTR is far from boring.)

There was a Maxim movie edition that said ROTK will be "4 freakin hours long," but I wonder about that. Directors usually opt for the middle ground, so I will guess 3 hours 20/30 minutes.

Can't wait. The Lord of the Nazgul; the struggle on Orodruin; the battle of the Pelennor Fields....

    THIS movie I'm geeked about.
