They are replaying the 2 hour premier tonight in case anybody missed it. On last weeks show, they said to be on the lookout for clues you may have missed the first time around. I'm so hooked on this show and The Wire.
What about the first season of 24? I thought that one was pretty great. That said, I am TOTALLY addicted to Lost. But then, I've bt'ed all the episodes and burned them on to DVD's, so I'm pretty bummed about the reruns...
lost is o.k. but has way too much filler time. I can skip a week and not really miss out on anything.
Exactly, lame I've been watching the show and its been pretty good, not great. Whatever the secret to the island is better be very clever though or it will be one big waste.
This show has way too many characters to develop all of them, which seems to be what they have decided to do. It is also nice to have plot development. They do not seem to be making much progress in revealing the secrets of the island, which is a bit more interesting than the pregnant girl's boyfriend leaving her, or the fact that the doctor's father was a drunk and the bass player was a drug addict. The interesting backstories were the Iraqi guy's, Locke's, and I guess the psychic angle of the pregnant girl.
did anybody catch the line after the "thing" made the noises? one lady she said that it sounded familiar, then somebody asked here where she was from...and she said the Bronx. Bronx Zoo maybe? I think it was a Lion or something that attacked the pilot.
After reading the positive comments about the show, I decided to watch this evening. I literally fell asleep in my chair about 45 minutes into it. I just woke up. Man, that was a great nap. The show was way too slow for my liking.
The show is supposed to take 4 seasons to complete. Everyone that I know loves the show. When are they supposed to resume and not show the reruns?
I think the character development is what makes the show interesting. It gives the show a lot more depth. The best backstories so far, in my opinion, are Locke, Sayid, and the Koreans. According to TVTome, the next new episode won't be until January 5th. It's not a big surprise, though. Shows take a break for the holidays all the time for whatever reason. Still, it kinda sucks that we have to wait that long for another episode.
Where did you hear that? I haven't heard that before, and I couldn't confirm it by looking around briefly.

Beware...I'm about to sound really, really old. I can't watch TV, anymore. I can't. I recognize this is probably a good show. And I just don't care. The episode was on last night, and my wife watched. I can't get into it. I watched the Rocks...because all I watch is sports now, for the most part. Sports and movies. The sitcom is virtually dead. My favorite shows were removed so that reality TV can keep sucking in primetime. So I watched the Rocks and played Bounty Hunter on the Gamecube with my son. That's it. There...I'm old.
