The reason that Los did not get into to many games this year, or that he is not expected to be back with the Rockets is that he simply does not practice very hard. Rudy is trying to get players that are motivated in practice as well as in games, and Los just dogs it in practice. No question in games, he hustles like mad, but in practice...BOW..WOW..WOW.. Now about that Cato guy.....well that is another story. DaDakota ------------------ If you like RTS games, check out this one. www.frontierwars.com coming soon to a PC near you.
Is that true? It seems very out of character for Los. If so, then I can definitely see why the team would move him. We don't need lazy players. ------------------ I'm about to boldly go where many men have gone before.
That sucks because he produces so well in games. Oh well, if this is the case, then I applaud Rudy for making the decision. Even though we need players like 'Los, we don't need them at the expense of Rudy's and the organization's principals. DaDakota, how do you know this? Do you have any evidence to back it up? ------------------ Watch out for gay Limbo Dancers.
geez, I would've thought we would be more interested in guys who hustle in games and not in practice than guys who are great practice players and look lost out there...
Was it ever determined if we hold a team option on Los for 2001-02; or will he still count against our cap? Clutch posted that the team will not "ask him back." Well, if we still owe him $$$ for a year, he can be moved rather than waived. If the team holds an option on him, well, very good, says I. But does anyone know for sure? ------------------
R U SURE ABOUT THAT? I read the exact opposite about a month back, that THis guy comes to practice on time, he stays after with the younger guys, and he gives Olauwon fits. *HMMM* I dunno about that , I heard he bust his ass off in practice and only sees 4-6 minutes a game for it, I need some proof here , I read the complete opposite...... sorry ------------------ got milf?

How did DaDakota get access to practice footage? How does TheFreak know anything about team chemistry? Why does DaDakota think he knows anything about the "leadership" situation on the Rockets? Am I missing something? What on earth makes you guys think you can guess about stuff like this?
Maybe DaDakota is being sarcastic; maybe he's calling bs on heypartner about Shandon's work ethic??? ------------------ women love me, fish fear me.
Why not have a player that does both? If you're slacking at practice, then why bother having it? That being said, is this confirmed to be true? Does anybody really trust this DaDakota guy? ------------------ Yugo grills, Yugo mills, Check out the oil my Yugo spills...
No votes in favor of practice slackers, here, but doesn't it seem a strange focus? The guy has been showing improvement in the games, true? I would think that would be the most important place to evaluate production.
Practicing hard in practice for a reserve is extremely important. It's necessary to give those who play significant minutes in games adequate preparation for gametime situations. There's a reason you have 12 people on a roster. If he is dogging it in practice, see ya! ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
Maybe he's afraid of dying. DaDakota are you serious about this? ------------------ women love me, fish fear me.
I am being serious, and this is what I heard. This is why Rudy has not been playing Los very much this year, even though he has been pretty darn productive in games. I think Los is a very nice guy, and is probably a bit disenchanted with his playing time. Oh, well, he is gone anyway. I am being serious, and this is what I heard. Where did you hear this? How come nobody else heard it?
"I believe we can look at a team's performance and say with certainty that they have good chemistry or not. " Name me a sub .500 team with good "chemistry". Is it possible for a bad team to have good "chemistry"? What's the difference between have good "chemistry" and having a winning record? Im with Paul- this guy is extremely productive during the games. Who cares if he doesnt practice really hard. KT may practice really hard but he isnt nearly as productive in the games. If we have a frontcourt guy off the bench who can do both, that is the best, but we dont. Also, Los often seems like one of the better chemistry players on the team. He is always being positive and having a good time and that is definitely a major plus in my book. ------------------ I hope, when they die, cartoon characters have to answer for their sins.
