He's holding a press conference tomorrow but it looks like he is skipping his final two years. There's speculation that his family has some financial problems and they need the money. Too bad for the Texans. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
I read somewhere he said that he did not want to play for the Texans or something like that [Like playing for San Diego is better than playing for an Expansion team] Maybe we should call dickey and get some of those batteries he holds for Francis. Rocket River Just need a VICK like arm to get the battery from the cheap seats to the field ------------------
As far as his decision goes, I think it`s a mistake, but I wouldnt turn down a 10-13 million dollar signing bonus either......I think it`s time to look at the situation of underclassmen coming out to early in all sports, maybe I`m being cynical but it seems that ALL athletes are saying "Show me the money"......Dont get me wrong, I think they should get paid whatever they deserve but it`s starting to get out of hand {see A-Rod} I guess what shocks me more is the owners who keep forking over the big dollars............Sorry to get off the subject, now back to the topic ------------------
I wish he was a texan but in a way i believe it would have been stupid for him to stay in school. I mean he knows he will be the number one pick in the draft and every athlete dreams of that. Why would he stay in school and take a chance of injury etc. I know there is the argument about getting an education but then he wouldn't be a texan either if he stayed all 4 years.. ------------------ Shane "Save Our Rockets" "Life without basketball in Houston........without an arena that is what it will be"
