I've heard of getting deep position in the post but that's just ridiculous.

Well, I won't be surprised AT ALL if Ray Allen ends up signing with the Lakers next season to play with Kobe and Odom.

May be both teams will work out a sign-n-trade for some scrubs from the Lakers (Butler, Mihm, etc.)

If the Lakers can land a player like Ray Allen, they will be a very good team for years to come.

I know they would a problem cap-wise, but maybe Buss will be willing to pay all that luxury tax like the Knicks do.

Ray Allen or Michael Redd will be going to the Lakers next year, that is my guess. Needless to say, Kobe will move to the 3 position if that happens.

    Just an idea;)

Supposedly, Michael Redd wants to be the feature player on his team, which is why he will likely re-sign with Milwaukee instead of going to Cleveland. No matter what they say publicly, Ray Allen and Kobe don't like each other and Allen won't be going to LA. Kobe is so unpopular I think the Lakers will be stuck in neutral this summer. Their best hope is trading Lamar Odom for someone who meshes better with Kobe.

Heh heh, life is good in the NBA. The Lakers are in the lottery this year, and at BEST, they will be a borderline playoff team next year. Thank you Kobe for running off PJ & Shaq. Thank Mitch Kupchak for taking Brian Grant from the Heat because you needed his $17 million millstone to help create a salary match for Shaq.

I don't see it either, and even if it did come to pass, that would be a bad marriage. You don't want to put someone that needs touches/shots on a team with Kobe. Just not smart.
