This guy is wildly inconsistent. The 21 rebounds does not surprise me one bit. He could grab all the bounds he wants tonight then the next game he will grab 2.

the 20 boards may have something to do with Silas lighting a fire under him... prior to tonights game Silas ws just about to drop Gooden and Harris from the starting 5....

why does it take that for Drew to fire up.. every night pal!!

Boozer woulda had 30 in that game. Man, that was a fast paced game. ;)

Lebron still is gonna to miss Boozer. Cavs are extremely soft on the interior, Boozer brough a lot more toughness. Lebron is for real but they need a more physical frontline, way too soft on d.

The Cavs really missed out when Boozer left. Which left me confused when so many experts predicted that they'd still do so much better than last year. Honestly, it'll be impressive if they end up 0.500.

Gooden has been bounced by the Griz and Magic rather quickly - and there's a reason. He has zero work ethic, and is more into the party life than he is the game itself. He's got the size and talent, but has numerous mental lapses in games.

Boozer was greedy and a backstabber for sure, but he's also putting down 19 and 11 so far this year on a 4-1 squad, compared to Gooden's 12 and 9 with a 2-3 squad.

Actually, this is the best post! Look at his numbers this year:

    vs Ind - 4 and 6
    @ Mia - 24 and 11
    @ Mil - 12 and 2
    @ Atl - 2 and 4
    vs Pho - 16 and 21

    Wow.

    Boozer:
    vs LAL - 27 and 11
    @ GSW - 16 and 9
    @ DEN - 30 and 17
    vs DEN - 4 and 7
    vs TOR - 19 and 5

The experts were all counting on a much improved season from Lebron, as well as a full season of McInnis. I'm with you in thinking that Boozer's loss should offset these two areas. Either way, this is a borderline playoff team.

he actually isn't too different from boozer from a rebounding aspect (work ethic is vastly different) i remember in memphis he was consistently pulling down doubledigit boards, but in orlando that changed drastically. since the cavs are so weak up front like memphis was, im not surprised at his numbers.

Well... Eric Snow is a point guard.

Since McInnis is way better than him he's starting there - and since Snow can't shoot then there's no way known that he'll get minutes at the 2!

Gooden is putting up pretty good numbers right now but in the playoffs that's where Boozer will be missed. Gooden is athletic but isnt very "tough." That toughness will be missed in the playoffs.
