My buddy just came through in the clutch and scored some tickets for the Woodlands show. I've always liked DMB but (thanks to this board) I've become obsessed with them in the last 3 or 4 months. I think I'll make a sign that says "Give Carter a Solo!". They better play Bartender and/or Drive In Drive Out. I'm sure there's a thread on this already but... Anyone else going?
on a somewhat related note i got my tcikets yesterday to the ben harper/jack johnson concert at the gorge in aug. but since it seats 20,000 i wasnt doubting i would get them.
Cool!! I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet, but they should be here any day. I'm seeing four shows this summer -- One Kansas, and the three Texas shows. Get ready for the best concert you've ever been to.

Okay, so there IS such a room. I'll be there as well......when Poison, Vince Neil, Skid Row, Faster Pussycat, etc. come to town on 7/19.
imadrummer -- that was hilarious!! damn it..i can't shake these bee bees!!! the freak -- apparently there is...i haven't been there yet...i don't expect the band to be there, though. it's a room to come in out of the heat before the show and have a drink, as i understand it. i don't think i'm gonna be hanging with dave or anything. that would be awfully cool..but i don't think that's it. but if i hear anything about the faster pussycat show, i'll certainly let ya know!
I don't think that's it either... A friend of mine has been telling me he's got free tickets with free access to a bar. I wasn't sure there was a bar at CWMP, but your comment lends some legitimacy to it.
If it's what I had tickets to a few years ago, it's just some outside seats where they come take your order. I'll be there, 9th row. I'm still thinking about organizing a little get together before the show...or we could all at least meet somewhere inside. Behad's going as well.
DAMMIT!!! i just checked online at ticketmaster and they seem to be sold out . yes, i'm a slacker..... any ideas how to get a hold of a ticket? should i just wait a bit and see if any open up? or maybe Vengeance could just gimme his since he'll be attending several others (you selfish b*stard ). i'm a converted DMB fan (used to despise them til about a year ago), but now they're easily one of my favorite bands, and seeing them in the Woodlands would be awesome - that place just seems like the ideal place to see them. plus i've heard their tour so far has rocked, as they've been playing tremendous sets w/ numerous oldies and rare songs. if you can't tell, i really, really want to go.
I'm old, but I'm not THAT old! My wife would kill me if I did ANYTHING to spoil her DMB trip. Plus, I'm DDing that night. We'll be there!
That's why my hotel will be in walking distance. Actually, the best thing we could do is do a little tailgating before...you could get your drink on, then don't during the show, and 3 hours later, you should be fine.
