aka San Antiono for 3 weeks starting this Sunday

Looks like I am going to miss all of the Rockets preseason games.

Anyone know of any sports bars in S.A. that might show them?

Any good sports bars in general in NW S.A. (near USAA)?

Is there any piano bars on the Riverwalk (my wife is going to come up and visit me one weekend)?

Any good/cheap golf courses worth playing?

Piano bar on the riverwalk = Howl at the Moon. Went there all the time in undergrad while at Trinity. It's the dualing piano, drink shots, silly songs type of deal.

Real jazz on the riverwalk = Jim Cullum Jazz Band at the Landing. More sophisticated crowd than Howl at the Moon (some may contend its not as fun), but the quality of entertainment is better. Depends on what you're looking for that evening.

    Also...Dirty Nellies. It's not dueling pianos...but they do Irish sing-a-longs. It's a good time.

There's a BW3's in the NW area (off DeZevala), and I know they have satellite capability because they show all the NFL sunday ticket games there... u might be able to see some Rockets games.

I've actually been to that one last time I was in S.A.

Also went to the Fox & The Hound just down the street.

Unfortunately, they aren't within walking distance. :(

I'm new here, is this purely a Rockets basketball fan site, or do we have a few Spurs fans lingering around?
