Revolvers are cool, just don't use that particular weapon if and when you go to get a concealed handgun license. If you do you'll only be licensed to carry a revolver only, but if you use a semi auto pistol you'd be licensed to carry any handgun. I love revolvers because they BUST, and never jam.
Academy is fine, like Relentless said, they have a pretty decent selection. I bought mine at the High Caliber Gun Show. There's a great selection from multiple gun stores that have tables there.
Have you recently been fired from your job? Have you recently gone though a painful separation from a loved on? Do you have any "issues" with the current administration? Are you an arms dealer for the Sinaloa drug cartel? Have you watched any Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson or Chuck Norris movies more than 50 times? If you answered yes or are having problems answering any of these questions please contact your local NRA affiliate. Thank you and have a nice day.
I was thinking about getting one but I'm leaning toward a shotgun. Any good brands I should consider? I was thinking about how bad that would suck if you had a gun that uses a clip and, when you need to use it in that moment of crisis, it jams and you are screwed.
Revolver is just too dangerous if you have kids because of lack of safety features. if you want reliability, XDM technology is really good. I own a XD 9mm and it has not jammed even if I use cheap ammos.
question, I am going to buy a revolver most likely a .38 Special revolver but been told just to go with a .357. My question is can i take a cheap .22 pistol for the CHL and still be able to use any gun later on?
