Looking for more old school rap to listen too...

I am getting tired of all the stuff on my Zune.

Here is most of what I currently listen to....

    UGK
    Tupac
    Bone Thugz
    4Tay
    Eazy E
    Geto Boys
    Fat Pat
    Public Enemy
    Lord of the Underground
    Menace to society
    Nas
    Luniz
    5th Ward boyz
    Scarface
    South central cartel
    NWA
    Warren G
    A Tribe called quest

I have heard most of the "classics", and I am struggling to find new "old" music right now.

(btw, Thanks to a thread a few weeks back I picked up some Blac Monks stuff, FANTASTIC. THAT is what I am looking for, but more of it.)
    :)

Your collection is similar to mine.

It's not old, but 3-2 has a CD out called Fatt Domino that was done a few years ago but finally released. It's good stuff.

As for old stuff you might like:

Twinz - Conversation (Warren G produced most of it)
    Eightball - Lost
    MJG - No More Glory
    Street Military - Don't Give A Damn
The D.O.C. - No One Can Do It Better
Above the Law - Uncle Sam's Curse

De la Soul? That's some hiphop!

Than be sure to download Pete Rock and Cl Smooth's tracks so as the discography of Run DMC :)

I don't know if you mentioned Wu Tang Clan and Big L, Big Pun also...

If you look for underground hip hop I suggest Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, Hasan Salaam, Crooked I ( and new Slaughterhouse movement ) above all.

Hip hop is beautiful, long live this wonderful art.

If you like Run DMC, try Whodini. Similar styles. Whodini never got their proper kudos.

    Run-D.M.C.
    2 Live Crew
    LL Cool J

and historical reference must include The Sugarhill Gang
