Since I had to leave school for a while, I decided to move back in with my parents. They've got AOL DSL and they're paying out the wazoo for it (~$67 a month or something). I have their OK to get a different provider for them and one that I was considering is Optimum Link (http://www.oplink.net). I've been reading up on them on DSLReports though and they seem to have some issues with capping users, now I use up quite a bit of bandwidth, around 10-15GB a month. Yes it's a lot less than some here, but it's a lot more than others. Does anyone have any info about this company and their service/plans? I'm also considering just going with SBC. I've got about $100 a month to play with for the internet connection and am trying to get a good value for the money, something with at least 3Mb down (6Mb down would be wonderful). Static IPs aren't necessary, but useful. Also oplink lets you pay a 1 time $20 fee and control your own reverse DNS, does anyone know if any other ISPs around here that do that? Thanks
