Here is the job description. Job Description: This person is responsible for producing detailed architectural drawings from rough general drawings and blue prints provided by customers. Must be able to identify parts pertaining to our scope of work and determine the required quantity of those parts. Drawings will include piece setting and elevation layouts as well as all details needed to produce each part as specified including accurate dimensions. Must be able to make freehand sketches of designs and approved sketches. Must be able to recognize and identify problems as well as analyze possible solutions and notify supervisory personnel. Good problem solving skills are a must. Must be proficient in using computer aided drafting such as AutoCAD 2004 or later. Ideal candidate will possess excellent mathematical and communication skills. Must have minimum two years postsecondary training or job related experience in the architectural field.
I do freelance work if you are interested in a per project basis but am currently happy at my fulltime job.
