November is over, arguably the hardest month of the season, facing the hardest bunch of opponents, not to mention the biggest road schedule that we have the entire season. Finally its over! Now look at December, after the Mavs this Thursday, we have a long homestand, with almost all of the games against what I consider sub par teams. Do you think we will still have the "sky is falling attitude" by the end of the month? Will Van Gunday be saved by home wins against crummy teams? If we are ever going to catch up in the "W" column, nows the time.
That's a problem. If JVG can string together a couple of wins against crap teams, I wonder if it changes anything. I sure hope it doesn't.
correct, we have lost 5 in a row at home, but they have been against more difficult opponents than we will face this month. NO, ATL, GS, CHA Need I say more?
Openly rooting for the team to lose? There is NO good that can come from it. Nothing. Nada. Except a #1 pick and we ain't gonna be that bad. No way I hope for losses just to see the coach get fired.
Me either! Never expect your team to lose, even you don't like or even hate someone in the team (player, Coach, GM...). We can bash them, but don't give them up as a team.
considering we lost to the Hawks once already, please don't, any losses to these teams would be even more embarrassing
Well, at least we'll find out if the team really has quit on Van Gundy. If they lose to those bottom feeders at home, it would have to have been on purpose. Right?
When did I say openly root for the team to lose? I just said that I hope a couple of wins doesn't save JVG's ass. By no means am I rooting for the team to lose, I never will.
The 5 teams we lost to in our 5 game winning streak were a combined 2-16 in road games until they beat us.
