Notre Dame ranked #1, why am I not surprised... man America's love affair with the Fighting Irish never ceases to amaze me...
I'm sure ROXTXIA would like to join me in shouting to all Longhorn fans "Haha, Iowa is ranked higher than UT!"
Something I don't understand on this. How can USC be 3-1 and play teams whose combined record is 13-1? Same for Notre Dame. They are 4-0 but the teams they have played have only a combined 3 losses. Shouldn't their opponents have a combined 3 and 4 losses respectively? CK
thinking aloud... maybe it discounts the games involving the team being ranked? Edit: After a very quick check, ND's opponents: MSU lost to Cal Maryland lost to FSU Purdue lost to Wake Forest seems to be the case.
