    Who will be attending the UT vs. Rice game at Reliant Sept 20th (time yet to be announced)?

    If anyone would like to set aside a time to meet and put faces with fonts, name the place and time. I am not sure how they work security on the lower level, but I do know that without a ticket in the Club level (from goal line to goal line).

    ACL Fest is the same weekend...why can't they plan this sheeeeit better?

    I'm still waiting on my boss to back out and give me his tickets. I know he has a wedding to attend that weekend, so I'm in the process of telling him what an ungreatful person he would look like to skip such an important ceremony.

    I'm such a great employee. :)

    Don't exclude the Owl fans from the bunch. I will be there, cheering loudly at halftime when our National Championship baseball team will be recognized. Sadly, this might be the only cheering I do all game. It will be especially sweet though to hear the boos of the longhorn fans when we get our recognition...

    Hey me and my buddies want to go to that game bad, what is the best way to go about getting tickets for it? We figure that since we're seniors we need to take full advantage of UT Football while we still can get it cheap!

    I'd like to go, but I don't want to sit way up high. And I dont have tickets, so who knows.

    tickets are 32 in the 4th level up. Not sure I want to pay that much to sit so far from the field

    If you are in Houston you may be able to go to Reliant Stadium and get them without a service charge, otherwise you can go to TicketMaster.

    I doubt I'll be there. I'll be in Nashville the night before for a DMB show. My goal is to be back in time to watch the game, but I don't think I'll actually make it.

    I'm definitely down for some pre-game **** in Austin though. We'll be tailgating across from the Bullock Museum on the 13th!

    heypartner.. I just got back up to nashville lfor school last week and just realized the dave matthews concert was going to be up here... I figured they'd be sold out but it looks like they aren't....

    I think you mentioned before you have gone to some other concerts on this current tour... the concerts on this tour well worth the money? Maybe I will go and drag some people from school with me.. although it appears there are only single tickets..

    I'll be making the following road trips this year:
    @Baylor
    @OSU
    @Texas A&M

    Rice??? Tickets are damn expensive, so I hope I can get something under face just after kickoff. This method is known as the "Braveheart method." Similar to the part in Braveheart when Wallace yells out: "Hold....hold....hoooold....NOW!!!" This method has worked wonders for me in such events as the Sweet 16/Elite 8 in San Antonio and the Big 12 Championship at Texas Stadium.

    Oh ya. Just to make y'all jealous....I have two season tickets at home, which include Red River Shootout tickets. :)

    Cool....I was able to buy some tix for the UT games at A&M and in Dallas vs. OU from someone who needed the money, and owns season tickets.

    well i guess to make you jealous, i have 40 yd line, 2nd row tickets to ou and half of my group has 1st row tickets, so ha.


    but i did shell out for the rice game so you'll get a better deal than me. considering how many tickets UT should have gotten for the game, we better get some decent seats for the $52 we paid. at least i get to see reliant.

    A couple of those should be good.

    Unfortunately aside from the Rice game they are all road trips for me. I will be attending:

    - Ark
    - K St.
    - Huskers
    - A&M (the wifey is an aggy and got the tickets for my b-day:D )
    - I also have my choice of either Tulane or Tech

    This is the first time in 4 years I do not have my OU tickets before the season. Anyone out there have access or know some one who is considering parting with RRS tickets? I am even willing to take the risk they lose before that weekend.
