i went to the chicago show. there's gonna be alot of stuff for you to do outside of listening to the actual music. a ton of booths it's really fun.

tell me how audioslave sounded, and tell me what you think of when they cover the white stripes. i thought audioslave was by far the best. the only bad thing about lollapalooza was that the crowd was kind of lame. we were the only people moshing around.

anyway, i hope you have fun, and im interested in hearing about how it's doing, and if it changed any since i saw it a month ago. have fun, but not too much fun it ain't ozzfest. :p seriously though, i hope you have an awesome time, i hear the tout isnt going so well and it's a shame, what with the summer sanitarium(crap) tour outselling it.

I've also heard that Audioslave steals the show, which is fine with me. I've seen Janes Addiction three times over the past (holy crap) 14 years but after hearing the Audioslave album I am pumped to see them.

I saw Audioslave here in Austin back in March and they were great! They didn't do any RATM tunes, but they did pretty much their whole album and a couple tunes of Chris Cornell's as well as an awesome cover of Rush's "Working Man".

Saw the Concert in D.C. on the 1st of August... It was FREAKING great... Audioslave steals the show hands down, they really get the crowd into it... and the White Stripes cover will just give you chills, it was amazing... of course the crowd in D.C. was really, really into it, so that always helps the energy at the show.

But really I felt it was definetly worth the ticket price (even though I got mine free as a birthday present :D ), I enjoyed every single band that came on the main stage ( I live for incubus) and the overall setup was nice, lots of other things to check out before the Main Stage starts rockin' away...
