So did he trip and fall ala Yao Ming guarding Marbury or was he trying to flop? I vote for flopping.

Just wondering how many laughs it would garner from the Magic bench when Howard gets dunked on.

It's easy picking on the little guys ;)

I liked the magic, I like redick and he definitely got done up on those plays. But it happens, its basketball and we have seen the best of them cross people over. Blow out or not this reminds me a bit of the cavs team years ago where they are good, but I don't like their composure and I think they will be lacking to make a big run. This gives an idea of it. Its just certain intangibles and yea I know its all in good fun. But you just won't see the spurs and the like the real title contenders pulling this sort of act. Its business as usual and you realize that this is about being a professional and even more so supporting your teammate. It makes sense if its the other team, but your own guy? You can tell when redick is on the bench he is not very happy to watch his teammates reenact that on national television. I don't think its a great move by them either and that stuff should be in the locker room really

I agree, blowout or not, this isn't something you do while you're on the big screen. As soon as I saw Dwight laughing after JJ got crossed, I was like "wow, really?" If it was a pick-up game, then OK, its understandable, but its an NBA game. What kind of teammate makes fun of you during a game while you're on tv?

It is funny, but it does give a bad rep to orlando

I disagree but I understand what you are saying. If it was the other team, I would find it more offense when the players are laughing at the opposing team. When it's your own team, it is more acceptable and it's 'friendly'. They are joking around on something definitely funny. If I was Reddick, I would laugh my ass out at myself, as it happens to anyone.

When a team is so serious that they don't laugh between each other, there's a problem. A championship team's players are always good friends with each other.

I agree, thats just shows how close they are with each other and you can kinda see JJ Reddick laughing right after it happened too.

His teammates looked they knew they shouldn't be laughing at him by how they were trying to hide their faces.

But they probably laughed anyway because it's something that keeps happening to him.

    ...Anyway, I laughed

they said SVG was laughing about it too....im guessing after it happened last week they had some fun at practice or something, so now that it happened to soon again probably set them off...they were blowing them out anyway.

Howard's laugh was a cleverly disguised " you expect me to play with that, Im going to the lakers"

If JJ Reddick wasnt laughing and his teammates were laughing it would be a different story. Dwight was laughing WITH him not AT him.

What do you expect? It's frickin' JJ Redick. I'm surprised he stays in front of anyone and their grandma.
