I don't give anyone a pass for saying things like this, but the protection of he Internet makes people say things they typically wouldn't. That being said, these people are idiots!

 

I almost feel bad for these people for being so dumb...Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, "Asians" all = Koreans. If you're going to tweet something like this, at least direct your hate to the group of people depicted in the movie.

What's even sadder is that some of these people are minorities too.

As much as conservative America hates hollywood, why does it seem as if hollywood is their source of education?

 

I was just thinking about this the other day...do other countries see movies like "Olympus Has Fallen" and "Red Dawn" as propaganda? How does N Korea feel about these movies, and how did Russia feel about "Red Dawn" back in the 80's?
I know the major difference is that we KNOW that these movies are not real, whereas true propaganda is passed off as real, usually in the form of "documentaries"

As opposed to back in the day were instead of just posting on the internet, they would go beat up a black or Chinese dude and jury would not convict saying boys will be boys.

If it's the kind of country that would allow it be shown, the locals probably think it's funny. Soviet Union in the '80s is probably a fairly transitional place; I could see them officially banning the movie, but people getting bootleg copies and finding it amusing. Some of the government or defense officials would have probably gotten a good laugh out of it.

I think an honest answer during the time period of the original Red Dawn would be, "I don't give a damn what they think."
